Happy birthday to a mountain: 15 July 2015 was the 150th anniversary of the first ascent of the Matterhorn by Edward Whymper. This event marked the birth of alpinism and Alpine tourism. The Matterhorn stands out on a global scale and is the symbol of all the positive values Switzerland strives to convey in different contexts. The Matterhorn stands for all that is real, authentic, original, powerful, dynamic, soaring and natural, and embodies the often-quoted sense of Swissness.

Creating a strategic roadmap for implementing the celebrations around the 150th anniversary of the first Matterhorn ascent. Detailed concept of actions, creating partnership documentation, and supporting strategic partnerships. Creating the basis for successful implementation of activities on-site and in the specified target markets.
