Strategic Roadmap for the Rigahaus Chur Care Home


The Rigahaus, a retirement home in the heart of Chur that has been operating successfully for over a century, faces the significant task of defining its strategic direction for the future. By taking into account the opportunities and risks of the coming years, the aim is to ensure the continued development and safeguarding of its success to date. Against this backdrop, the management, together with the Board of Directors, feels compelled to draw up a strategic roadmap. This is intended to build on the existing Strategy 2025 and equip the Rigahaus to meet the challenges of the future.
Scope of services
Rigahaus is collaborating with Quant AG to develop a comprehensive and forward-looking strategic roadmap. The ‘Future Room Methodology’ is applied as a central element during the strategic direction phase. This methodology supports the systematic analysis of trends and future scenarios, thereby forming the basis for strategic considerations. In addition, we are working closely with trend and futurologist Marcel Aberle, who plays a key role with his insights into the future and in the evaluation of the Future Room. Through this interdisciplinary approach, the aim is to develop innovative concepts and measures that will successfully guide Rigahaus into the future.
Objective
The objective is to define the policy and strategic direction of the Rigahaus Senior Citizens’ Centre for the coming years, which will then be translated into concrete and practical implementation measures. The definition of these measures is intended to enable Rigahaus to respond proactively to future opportunities and challenges and to develop continuously in order to consolidate and expand its status as one of the leading senior citizens’ centres in Chur.
