Concept and objectives

The mobility system is based on three levels: basic mobility, seasonal mobility and peak day mobility with flexible capacities. A strong public transport system forms the backbone, supplemented by local micro-services. The aim is decarbonisation through less motorised individual transport, more public transport and non-motorised transport for sustainable, compatible mobility.

Measures and implementation

Several minor measures have been defined to improve mobility communication. Implementation is guided by four key priorities:

  • Creating a database for planning and evaluation
  • Testing on-demand services to supplement the route network
  • Rethinking parking and optimising traffic management
  • Securing the future by examining a cable car connection to the RhB
