Communication by local authorities serves to promote dialogue between the administration and the population and is of central importance for the functioning of direct democracy. The aim is to inform all sections of the local population about relevant aspects of the community and specific issues.

Communication by the municipality of Flims serves to provide information and shape opinion and image both externally and internally. It strengthens the identification of employees at all levels with the municipality and the administration and improves the level of information available to employees, residents and second home owners.
